Libby Deeken can't stop watching Santa on Friday during his appearance at the Christmas Party for clients of the Independent Living Resource Center on Southridge Drive. Clients were excited about the event, which meant seeing their friends, having a good meal, playing games and seeing Santa. When asked, some told Santa what they wanted for Christmas, while others said they'd been bad (with a smile), so they probably wouldn't get anything.
Even in the midst of remodeling, the Independent Living Resource Center is providing services for its clients in seven counties.
