Rear-end collision injures two people

A Friday morning rear-end collision in Callaway County injured two people.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Brooklynn A. Morrow, 19, of Jefferson City, at about 9:55 a.m. was driving a Honda Civic northbound on U.S. 63 near Callaway County Road 399, when an SUV pulled out northbound in front of her.

Morrow's Civic struck the rear end of the Jeep Patriot, driven by Trevor A. Stock, 40, of Hartsburg.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Stock and Kimber J. Hardt, 32, of Fulton, a passenger in his car who was also wearing a seat belt, each suffered minor injuries.

An ambulance took Stock and Hardt to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
