Municipalities throughout Cole County overwhelmingly voted to retain their local elected officials Tuesday, and Centertown split on a proposed tax.
Centertown voters re-elected three trustees to the village's governing board but were divided on Proposition P, a 1 percent local use tax that would have generated funding for park development.
