MDC hosting Creek Crawl in Loose Creek


The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is inviting local residents to explore the creeks at the Bernard Bruns Conservation Area. The event is 5:30-7 p.m. Sept. 13.

MDC staff will show participants the different aquatic creatures that live in the creeks and explain what role each creature has in the life cycles of the creeks.

The Dr. Bernard Bruns Conservation Area is located in Loose Creek. To get there from Westphalia, take U.S. 63 north, then County Road 609 east.
