Jefferson City High School to host trick-or-treat opportunity

The Jefferson City Student Council will offer a free, safe opportunity Thursday night for children to trick or treat at Jefferson City High School.

The annual "Jack-O-Lantern-Jam" will take place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the school, according to the school district. All Jefferson City children are welcome.

Students and JCHS clubs and activities sponsors will host games, crafts and activities -- and hand out candy -- in classrooms throughout the building.

The Student Council will provide free Kool-Aid and popcorn.

JCHS Student Council will also be accepting new and gently-used coat donations in any size on behalf of Salvation Army.
