City to close buildings, services for holiday

by News Tribune staff [email protected] | November 18, 2022 at 4:00 a.m.

Jefferson City offices and some services will close Nov. 24-25 in observance of Thanksgiving.

City buses will not operate, nor will parking meter payments be enforced during those two days next week, the city said in a news release. The city said the site for yard waste on Southridge Drive will also close for those two days.

Trash will not be picked up Nov. 24. Trash services instead will be delayed by a day following the holiday and for the rest of the week, with Saturday as the last pickup day.
