Eugene seniors earn scholarships, awards

Cole County R-5 High School in Eugene celebrated its seniors in a graduation ceremony Sunday and sent them off with a host of scholarships.

The following seniors earned scholarships:

Macy Adrian earned the Greg Stockard Jr. Memorial Scholarship via Capital Region Medical Center for $1,000, the University of Central Missouri Red and Black Scholarship for $1,500, and the A+ scholarship at UCM.

Mallory Adrian earned the Eugene Foundation Scholarship for $500 and the A+ Scholarship at Moberly Area Community College.

Caden Anderson earned the Lincoln University Blue Tiger Advantage Scholarship for $3,250.

Sara Beck earned the Lincoln University Blue Tiger Advantage Scholarship for $16,000 and the Clem, Rose and Heath Kempker Memorial Scholarship for $1,000.

JeAnn Boessen earned the UCM Red and Black Scholarship for $1,000 and the A+ Tuition Scholarship at UCM.

Samuel Budnik earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship to State Technical College of Missouri.

Kyliah Dassrath earned the Eugene Foundation Scholarship for $500, the Clem, Rose, and Heath Kempker Memorial Scholarship for $1,000, the Mike King Memorial Scholarship for $1,000 and the A+ Tuition Scholarship at MACC.

Marissa Eads earned the River Region Credit Union Scholarship for $2,000 and the A+ Tuition Scholarship at State Fair Community College.

Victoria Evers earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at SFCC.

Destiny Gray earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at SFCC.

Saylor Haney earned the Dalton Frank Scholarship of $250, the River Region Credit Union Scholarship of $2,000, the Eugene Alumni Scholarship of $1,000, and the Lincoln University Scholarship of $4,000 yearly.

Brooklyn Hendricks earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at St. Charles Community College.

Haley Jarrett earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at State Tech.

Lamajah Johnson earned the Eugene Foundation Scholarship of $500, the Mary and Martha Briegel Scholarship of $750, and the Diversity Scholarship at the University of Missouri for $2,000.

Damien Kempker earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at State Tech.

Cameron Koetting earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at State Tech.

Cheyene Koetting earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at SFCC.

Lauren Latta earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at MACC.

Mikayla Luebbering earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at State Tech.

Brody Mason earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at State Tech.

Garrett Morris earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at Ozark Technical College.

Tyler Renn earned the Columbia College Distinction Scholarship of $11,000 and the Columbia College Baseball Scholarship of $12,306 a year.

Braeden Short earned the Bright Flight scholarship of $3,000 a year, a University of Notre Dame Scholarship of $51,000 a year, a Eugene Foundation Scholarship of $500, an Elks Lodge Scholarship of $1,000 and a Eugene Staff Council Scholarship of $500.

Drew Sommmerer earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at Ozark Technical College of Missouri.

Blake Steenburgen earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at State Tech.

Brent Steenburgen earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at SFCC.

Javan Steinhardt earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at MACC.

Matthew Stieferman earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at Ozark Technical College.

Olivia Stieferman earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at State Tech.

Sophie Stieferman earned the University Scholars Scholarship for $1,500 at Northwest Missouri State University, the Missouri Access Grant for $1,560, the Northwest A+ Scholarship for $1,500, the Go Green Grant for $1,650, the Adopt a Bearcat Scholarship of $500, and the Dr. Norman and Adad Mae Clough Scholarship of $500.

Devin Volmert earned the Big Red Scholarship of $44,000, the Design and Visual Art Award of $2,500, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 2693 Rob Ferguson Memorial Scholarship of $1,000.

Caleb Walker earned a scholarship to the United States Air Force Academy for $416,000.

Korbin Wunderlich earned the A+ Tuition Scholarship at State Tech.
