4 injured in Cole County wreck

Four people were hurt in a two vehicle crash Monday afternoon in western Cole County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 3 p.m. on westbound U.S. 50 at Kaylor Bridge Road.

Noah Sei, 22, of Jefferson City, was going west on 50, approaching Kaylor Bridge. William Taggart, 67, of Jefferson City was stopped in the median, waiting to cross 50. Taggart failed to yield to Sei and the two collided.

Sei and his father, William Sei, 59, were wearing seat belts and treated for minor injuries. Another passenger, Amber Lipe, 27, of Windsor, was not wearing a seat belt and was treated for moderate injuries. Taggart was wearing a seat belt and was treated for moderate injuries.

A Morgan County man was hurt in a one vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in Stover.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 1:10 a.m. on Third Street, just west of Cherry Street.

Anthony Gibson, 40, of Stover, went off the right side of the road and crossed Cherry. He then struck two trees and came to a stop.

Gibson was not wearing a seat belt and was treated for serious injuries.
