Dear Editor:
A few months ago, I stopped for a haircut at Great Clips on Missouri Boulevard. I had to wait longer than usual. The delay didn't bother me a bit, though.
They were so busy because they were giving free haircuts (or a free coupon) to vets and others in the military. And when they walked out the door, every one of them was thanked for their service by the hairstylists.
Made me happy to wait! I wish more businesses would follow the example Great Clips set on Veteran's Day. It's the least we can do!
Thanks to each and every one of you who served this country, in war or in peace. You are true heroes!
