Ashland missing teen returned home

Emilee Dubes, who was reported as missing Dec. 5, returned home early Friday morning.

Ashland Police Chief Gabe Edwards said in a video on Facebook she was healthy and uninjured when she returned home.

Dubes confirmed to Ashland Police that she was not abducted or harmed.

In the video release, Edwards thanked the agencies that helped in this investigation. The Fulton Police Department, Holts Summit Police Department and the Callaway County Sheriff's Office were among the agencies mentioned.

Dubes' family initially believed she might be held captive in the Callaway County area, according to Missouri Missing.

A candelight vigil was held for Dubes on Wednesday to spread awareness.
