Linn set for Christmas on Main Street

LINN, Mo. -- The Osage County town of Linn is the site for Christmas on Main Street this weekend.

The three-day event features festivities from 4:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 1-6 p.m. Sunday. 

The schedule for the first two days includes home tours, reindeer games, antique toys, story telling, Christmas trees and decor, gingerbread houses, crafts, food and vendors on the town square and at various other locations. 

Musical entertainment and Christmas carols are set for 5-7 p.m. Friday at Legends Bank Park. A Christmas tree lighting ceremony begins at 7 p.m. in the park.

A full day of activities on Saturday begins with breakfast with Santa for children from 8-10 a.m. at the Osage County Library. Saturday's Christmas parade starts at 2 p.m.

The event concludes Sunday with Nativity sets on display from 1-3 p.m. at both St. George Catholic Church and St. Johns United Methodist Church. Community Christian Church hosts A Night in Bethlehem from 4-6 p.m. for the finale.
