Boys Tennis: Helias 7, Sedalia Smith-Cotton 2

SEDALIA -- The Helias Crusaders picked up another victory Wednesday with a 7-2 dual win against the Smith-Cotton Tigers in Central Missouri Activities Conference play.

The Crusaders swept the doubles matches, with Ethan Foucheaux and Jacob Zerr picking up an 8-4 win in the No. 1 match, Andrew Dowden and Matthew Schepers winning 9-7 in the No. 2 match and Caleb Mueller and Jonah Lanigan finishing with an 8-1 victory at No. 3.

Foucheaux picked up an 8-2 victory in No. 1 singles. Dowden and Zerr both lost 3-8 in the No. 2 and No. 3 matches, respectively. Schepers won 8-4 in the No. 4 match, Mueller was an 8-1 winner in the No. 5 match and Matthews Liebsch finished the day with an 8-2 win in the No. 6 match.

Helias (8-1, 2-1 CMAC) will travel to Moberly for a dual at 4:30 p.m. today.
