Capital Region Medical Center has closed its drive-thru COVID-19 testing site in Jefferson City because of hazardous weather conditions and declining volumes, according to a hospital news release.
Over the past several weeks, testing of symptomatic patients has declined to about 50 patients per day.
Patients with Capital Region Physicians may contact their providers to see if they are able to receive a test in clinic, according to the news release. Patients who are not currently in the CRP network may establish care with a CRP provider or visit Capital Region Physicians - Edgewood or Eastland Urgent Care if they have symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
Patients who are suffering from severe symptoms or experiencing breathing problems should go to an emergency department or call 911.
