Boys Basketball: Eugene 67, School of the Osage 47

EUGENE - The Eugene Eagles improved to 4-1 this season against Tri-County Conference foes, defeating the School of the Osage Indians 67-47 in a non-conference matchup Friday.

Eugene led 13-7 after one quarter, then outscored Osage 26-11 in the second quarter to cruise to a 39-18 halftime lead. The Eagles continued to hold a 51-30 advantage through three quarters.

Tyler Renn scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Eagles. Colin Wunderlich finished with 13 points and Tre Kempker also reached double figures with 10 points.

Logan Havner had a team-high 14 points for the Indians.

Eugene (11-3) and Osage (2-10) will meet again at 6 p.m. Monday in the first round of the Eldon Tournament.
