Three candidates will seek three available seats on the Jefferson City Board of Education in the April 7 municipal election.
In December, incumbents Lori Massman and board Treasurer Scott Hovis filed to seek re-election, and Jefferson City resident Brad Bates filed to seek his first election to the board.
Three seats are available for three-year terms on the board. Candidate filing for the April election closed Tuesday.
Current board member Steve Bruce announced last fall he would not seek re-election.
