Gabe Trowbridge of Lincoln captured the title Tuesday in the Blue Tiger Invitational at Jefferson City Country Club.
Trowbridge (Jefferson City High School), shot rounds of 73-74-74 for a total of 221 to top the 44-player field. He's the first Lincoln player to win a collegiate tournament since 2016, when Blake Lammers captured the title in the MIAA Championships.
Trowbridge had 42 holes of par or better in the three-round event.
Jordan Barnett of Lincoln tied for 10th with a total of 235. Logan Taylor finished 14th for the Blue Tigers with a 238, while Brayden Watts was 26th with a 244 and Carson Doerhoff tied for 40th with a 256.
Three other Blue Tigers played as individuals. Brett Trowbridge finished 25th with a 243, while Austin Siebeneck tied for 37th with a 254, while Jacob Krantz was 43rd with a 277.
Lincoln finished fourth as a team with a 938.
Concordia: St. Paul captured team honors with a 917. Central College of Iowa was second with a 936, one stroke better than third-place Fort Hays State.
Lincoln will close the fall portion of its schedule Oct. 28-30 at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate in Waikoloa, Hawaii.
