A safety hazard on Railroad Avenue in Russellville has the sidewalk blocked off until further notice.
City Attorney Nathan Nickolaus informed the Russellville Board of Aldermen Thursday that falling brick on the building is a danger to residents.
"It appears that the facade is collapsing," Nickolaus said. "It looks like what it needs is tuck-pointing."
The bricks are part of the upstairs apartments above Humpy's Bar and Grill. Officials said the apartments are currently vacant, and the owner will be contacted immediately.
