Nienhueser leads Cougars

CONWAY, Ark. - Columbia College junior forward Mai Nienhueser scored a game-high 17 points last Thursday in the Cougars' 73-54 win against Central Baptist College in American Midwest Conference play.

Nienhueser (Helias High School) shot 8-of-13 from the floor, adding six rebounds and three assists in the win.

Senior guard Morgan Brandt (Fatima High School) also reached double figures with 13 points, finishing one rebound shy of a double-double in the win.

Brandt, who also grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds Saturday in the Cougars' 59-51 win against Lyon College, is second on the team with 11.4 points per game. She also leads Columbia College with 8.7 rebounds per game.

Nienhueser is also one of five Cougars averaging double figures in scoring at 10.3 points per game. She is second behind Brandt with 5.3 rebounds per contest.

Columbia College (12-2, 7-2 AMC), ranked No. 2 in the NAIA Top 25 poll, hosts Park on Thursday.
