Osage County Sheriff's Department deputies have filed charges against a Koeltztown man for forgery after he allegedly stole checks and wrote them at a Freeburg business for beer and cigarettes on three different occasions.
Sheriff's department reports show Michael Eads admitted to taking a checkbook without permission and signing the victim's name on the checks.
