Schroeder hits two HRs in 19-0 win for Blair Oaks

HALLSVILLE, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons opened the floodgates in the sixth inning with a double-digit run outburst Wednesday, beating the Hallsville Lady Indians 19-0 in six innings in Tri-County Conference play.

Hannah Schroeder hit a pair of home runs in the win, giving her a team-high six homers. Schroeder hit a two-run shot in the top of the first inning and added another two-run blast in the Lady Falcons' big sixth inning.

Macey Stockman had four hits, including two doubles, and drove in two runs, while Kayla Jones finished with three hits and three RBI. Brooke Boessen added two doubles and four RBI and Cameron Dulle had two hits and one RBI.

Makenna Kliethermes and Meredith Eisterhold combined to pitch the shutout. Kliethermes allowed just one walk and struck out eight, while Eisterhold gave up one hit and struck out two.

Blair Oaks (17-2), riding a 17-game win streak, plays today at Fatima.

In the JV game, Blair Oaks won 12-2 in four innings to improve to 14-0.

Alexis Findley had seven strikeouts in the win and allowed two hits and two walks. Kathleen Groner hit a home run and drove in three runs, Natalie Otto added two hits and three RBI and Ellie Kliethermes, Kaitlyn Kolb and Logan Wilbers each had two hits.
