A Jefferson City man was hurt in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Cole County.
Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 9:05 p.m. on Bagnall Drive at Starlite Drive.
Joseph Whalen, 45, of Jefferson City, was driving his motorcycle southbound on Westview Drive when he turned a corner too fast and crossed the center line, striking a pickup driven by Wayne Phillips, 67, also of Jefferson City, nearly head-on.
Whalen continued to go westbound until he overturned and skidded to a stop on the road. He was treated for serious injuries. Phillips had no reported injuries.
