Girls Basketball: Calvary gets road win against Dixon

DIXON, Mo. - Three players recorded a double-double for Calvary Lutheran on Monday night, leading the way to a 62-60 win against the Dixon Lady Bulldogs.

Dixon held a 14-8 lead after one quarter, but Calvary Lutheran answered with 25 points in the second quarter to take a 33-27 lead at halftime.

Calvary Lutheran continued to lead 43-39 entering the fourth quarter. The Lady Lions held a 2-point lead in the closing seconds when Abbie Klatt made a steal to secure the win for Calvary Lutheran.

Samantha Gunn posted 15 points and 12 rebounds for Calvary Lutheran, while Brooke Rollins had 15 points and 10 rebounds. Klatt also posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Rebecca Thompson also scored in double figured for the Lady Lions, finishing with 12 points.

Calvary Lutheran (9-4) plays Friday at Wellsville.
