Multiple arrests in Moniteau County

The Moniteau County Sheriff's Department made several arrests over the past few days:

On Friday, deputies were patrolling in the Fortuna area when they stopped a vehicle near Manito Lake. Zachary Williams, 26, of Syracuse, was taken into custody for driving while revoked and for having a warrant out for his arrest for stealing in Tipton. Williams fought with deputies before being taken into custody and could face a charge for that.

On Sunday, deputies assisted the California Police Department on a reported burglary in progress on Cedar Street. One suspect fled on foot and was apprehended. He was identified as Troy Obanion, 44, of California. He was transported to a hospital in Jefferson City for treatment of injuries sustained during the break-in and arrest. He was released from the hospital and, as of Wednesday, was in custody at the Moniteau County Jail. Obanion faces charges of second-degree burglary, resisting arrest and violation of a protection order.

On Monday, deputies conducted a vehicle stop on Red Bud Road just outside California. A search of the vehicle turned up methamphetamine and pills. The driver, Brandy Blackburn-Prather, 30, of Clarksburg, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and failure to obey a judge's order.

On Tuesday, deputies located and arrested Dalton Fisher on two outstanding warrants from probation and parole. He was located him in Tipton. As of Wednesday, he was being held in the Moniteau County Jail on $250,000 bond.
