MARSHALL, Mo. - The Helias Crusaders remain undefeated in the dual season with a 5-4 victory Monday against the Marshall Owls.
The dual was tied at 4 when Seth Pezley of Helias finished an 11-10 victory in his singles match, He won the tiebreaker 7-1.
Also winning in singles for the Crusaders were Tristan Grawe (up 6-5 when opponent defaulted), Jordan Roling (10-5) and Jacob Cowley (10-6). Falling for the Crusaders were Dalton Buschjost (4-10) and Cance Pool (7-10).
In doubles, the team of Pool and Roling won 11-9. Losing were Buschjost and Grawe (2-10), and Pezley and Cowley (9-11).
Helias (8-0), which won three exhibition doubles matches, will play Wednesday at the Rock Bridge Bruin Invitational in Columbia before hosting Rolla on Thursday for Senior Night.
