Make it a combo box. Better yet, a party pack.
Jefferson City's third Taco Bell is now open, bringing the fast-food chain's full menu, from classic burritos and quesadillas to loaded grillers and Doritos Locos tacos, to Jefferson City's east side.
Construction began on the 2005 Schotthill Woods Drive drive-thru/dine-in restaurant this winter, after the Jefferson City Council approved zoning changes in December to allow for the franchise owner, K-Mac Enterprises of Fort Smith, Arkansas, to replace the Pizza Hut previously located on the property with a Taco Bell.
Some residents of an adjacent neighborhood initially opposed the zoning change due to concerns about the restaurant's later hours of operation and noise from the drive-thru. Representatives of the franchise owner worked to address those concerns at subsequent city meetings.
The new Taco Bell, as with the other two in town, operates from 6:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays and from 6:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
Other Taco Bell locations in Jefferson City include 1905 Southwest Blvd. and 2605 Missouri Blvd.
