WAYNESVILLE, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays blanked the Waynesville Tigers 7-0 on Monday night.
Chad Hamler had a hat trick for the Jays, while Braydon Carron scored twice. Single goals were recorded by Layton Boyce and Tucker Jett.
Seven Jays had assists in the game - Boyce, Erick Ortiz, Josh Sabala, Peter Kuster, Max Alen, Isaac Johnson and Nick Ryan.
Ryan and Kord Pearson shared time in goal in the shutout.
Jefferson City (16-5-1) closes the regular season Wednesday at Rockhurst.
In the JV game Monday, Jefferson City defeated Waynesville 3-0. David Gilliam and Angel Garcia scored first-half goals for the Jays, with Travis Smith getting an assist. Will Kuster had an unassisted goal in the second half for Jefferson City.
