This hullabaloo over Trump's taxes is unbelievable! If the Democrats hate Trump so much because he doesn't legally pay any taxes why don't they ever pay any more than they have to? Why doesn't anyone pay more than they have to? They have had total power to do whatever they wanted to from 2008 to 2012 with the tax code but they didn't.
Why? Because then the Democrats with the help of the New York Times and the rest of the complicit hypocritical media couldn't raise this issue every election time to discredit honest successful Republicans and they would have to give away all or part of their control of the IRS.
It's all a part of the Democrats scheme of keeping the poor in their camp so they can be used to vote for them by keeping the hate alive for the "rich" (divide & conquer).
How did the Trumps and the Romneys become rich? Democrats don't ever help the poor by telling and helping them with what it takes to become successful because they want them to stay poor.
If they get educated and successful, then they won't need the Democrats plantations anymore and the slaves will escape! Doesn't this sound like the old South when it was a crime to educate the slaves? Why do you think Democrats hate private and charter schools so much?
As long as they can disallow school choice and control the public school systems through the support of the teachers unions there is no way the poor can escape their inevitable destiny.
Back to the tax issue, the only real solution is the Fair Tax! I recommend everyone read U.S. House and Senate bills H.R. 25 and S. 155, respectively. The FairTax is a national sales tax that treats every person equally and allows American businesses to thrive, while generating the same tax revenue as the current four-million-word-plus tax code - and without the IRS.
The big plus not mentioned in the bill, it eliminates the politicians ability to manipulate the tax code to feather their nests. They also won't be able to use the IRS to punish organizations like churches, non-public schools and any other organization who they feel may hamper their unpublicized corrupt antics.
God help our country, there isn't much time left!
