Central Travel is doing some traveling of its own. The newly restored Merchant's Bank Building at 103 W. High St. (the former location of My Sentiments Exactly) is now home to Central Bank's full-service travel agency, according to a news release.
Jackie Coakley manages Central Travel's staff and expressed enthusiasm about the move: "Central Travel's objective is to provide an elite, world-class experience by handling all the details of any trip, business or pleasure. We're excited to continue this customer service at our brand new, beautiful location in the Merchant's Bank Building."
To celebrate the move, Central Travel and the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting event at 10 a.m. May 13 at Central Travel's new location. It is free and open to the public. For more information, visit gocentraltravel.com or jcchamber.org.
