ST. LOUIS - The Helias Crusaders finished in a tie for fifth Monday in the Class 3 sectional tournament.
The Crusaders totaled a 365 among their four players who advanced from last week's district tournament.
Nick Alexander and Jack Rundle tied for 24th for the Crusaders after shooting 86s on the par-72 Quail Creek Golf Course. Cole Higgins of Helias added a 93, while Matt Branch finished with a 100.
Spencer Rogers of Eldon finished in a tie for 30th with an 89.
Brett Windsor of Boonville shot 72 to take medalist honors Monday.
MICDS took team honors with a 319, eight shots better than runner-up Hannibal. Those two teams advance to the Class 3 state tournament next Monday and Tuesday at Silo Ridge Golf Club in Bolivar.
