MU softball falls to Tennessee

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Missouri softball dropped the opening game of a three-game series to No. 14 Tennessee on Friday, 12-4.

The Volunteers hit four home runs, including a grand slam.

Angela Randazzo led Missouri from the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a homer.

Tori Finucane fell to 9-4 on the year, allowing five earned runs in two innings on seven hits and a walk. Cheyenne Baxter allowed seven runs, six earned, on seven hits and four walks in 32/3 innings of relief.

Missouri (19-3) and Tennessee (12-4) meet again today (7:30 p.m., SEC Network).
