Three California, Mo., residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 5 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 50 at Wieneke Branch Road in Moniteau County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 2005 Dodge Caravan, driven eastbound by Deborah R. Barnes, 40, California, attempted to make a right turn off U.S. 50 and was struck in the rear by a 2001 Ford F150, driven eastbound by Christopher M. Neal, 40, Jefferson City.
Barnes and two passengers, Austin L. Barnes, 3, California, and Melba J. Barnes, 70, California, were taken to SSM St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson city.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt.
