MOKANE - Hailey Lowery scored a game-high 23 points and Bailey Ivicsics finished with 18 to lead the top-seeded Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs to a 69-45 win against the eighth-seeded Russellville Lady Indians on Monday in the first round of the South Callaway Tournament.
Harrisburg trailed 10-9 after the first quarter, but entered the third quarter with a 25-19 lead before taking a 45-30 advantage into the final period.
The Lady Bulldogs will resume tournament action at 6 p.m. Wednesday in a winner's bracket game.
Justice Miller finished with 17 points and Haley Windsor added 10 to lead the Lady Indians, who will take on fifth-seeded New Haven at 6 p.m. Wednesday in a loser's bracket semifinal.
