ST. ELIZABETH - Sydni Bedsworth scored a game-high 18 points to lead three New Bloomfield players in double figures as the Lady Wildcats captured a 55-34 win against the St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets on Tuesday.
Ashley Kelly finished with 16 points and Taylor Howard added 10 for New Bloomfield, which led 13-9 after the first quarter, 23-17 at halftime and 42-30 entering the final period.
Brooke Struemph scored 10 points and pulled down seven rebounds while Regan Wilde chipped in with nine points to lead St. Elizabeth.
The Lady Hornets (4-6) will play Fatima at 7 p.m. Monday in the Fatima Tournament, while New Bloomfield (9-2) will take on Eugene on the road at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
