ELSAH, Ill. - The William Woods and Westminster track and field teams competed in the Principia College "Prin" Relays on Friday.
For William Woods, Preston Wolfe (Southern Boone High School) finished fifth in the triple jump with a jump of 10.71 meters.
In the men's 4x200-meter relay, Wolfe raced the second leg of the the William Woods A team, which finished fourth with a time of 1:35.12.
Madelyn Scrivner (Eldon High School) finished seventh in the shot put with a throw of 11.47 meters.
In the 3,000-meter run, Grace Young (Russellville High School) finished sixth with a time of 11:14.60.
Also at the Prin Relays, Westminster junior C.J. Vaughan (Jefferson City High School) set a school record with a 40.41 time in the 300-meter dash, good for 20th place.
Westminster senior Michael Lutz (Jefferson City High School) set a school record with a distance of 10.57 meters in the weight throw, finishing 25th.
