Boys Tennis: Jays win Ladue Invitational

LADUE, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays won the Ladue Invitational for the second consecutive year, going 2-0 in the tournament during the weekend.

On Friday, the Jays beat Ladue Horton Watkins 6-3. Singles winners for the Jays were David Clausen (6-3, 6-2), Spencer Bone (7-6, 6-2), Isaac Roling (6-1, 6-1) and Joey Mendez (6-3, 6-3). The Jays also won two of three doubles matches.

On Saturday, the Jays defeated Lindbergh 5-4. Singles winners for the Jays were Clausen (8-4), Roling (8-0) and Mendez (8-0). The Jays again won two of three doubles matches.

The Jays (11-2) host Hickman on Tuesday.
