County inks deal on Ebola monitoring pay

The Cole County Commission on Tuesday signed a retroactive contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services allowing for reimbursement from the Centers for Disease Control for Ebola monitoring in Cole County from Dec. 22, 2014, through May 15.

Also at the meeting, the commission:

• Tabled the reappointment of three current Cole County Special Services board members.

• Heard county resident Tim Eubank who asked for engineering assistance on county easement to resolve stormwater run off issues.

• Received a check from MOPERM, the property line insurance company, for the unused portion of this year's share.

• Extended an abatement deadline by 30 days for a property in the 2500 block of Tyler Ridge Road, which has a dilapidated mobile home and a lot of solid waste.

• Approved raising the hourly wage for the night shift Emergency Medical Service dispatchers to equal that of an emergency medical technician.
