The Helias tennis team held off Father Tolton for a 6-3 victory Friday.
The Crusaders had the edge in doubles matches, 2-1. T.J. Hagenhoff and Dane Haugen fell 3-8, but Klint Braun and Tristan Grawe won 8-0 and Dalton Buschjost and Dylan Grawe won 9-7.
In singles play, Braun (6-2, 6-1), Buschjost (6-7, 6-2, 6-1) and Dane Haugen (6-3, 6-1) won for Helias. Tristan Grawe also won 3-6, 6-1, 3-0 in a match forfeited by Tolton due to injury. Hagenhoff (6-4, 2-6, 3-6) and Dylan Grawe (1-6, 2-6) fell in singles play.
Helias won every JV match, going 5-0 in doubles and 5-0 in singles.
The Crusaders play Marshall on Monday.
