Owls go 2-2 at Hickman

COLUMBIA - The William Woods Owls adjusted just fine to a recent change of scenery, going 2-2 in games held at Hickman High School from Thursday through Sunday.

On Thursday, the Owls started their mini-road trip with an 11-0 win against Hannibal-LaGrange in seven innings.

Then on Friday, William Woods split a doubleheader with the same foe, with Hannibal-LaGrange taking the opener 9-8 before the Owls claimed the nightcap 9-0.

Damon Adrian (Eugene High School), who scored a run in Thursday's game, scored two more in the first game Friday.

In Friday's second game, Dustin Kremer (Blair Oaks High School) pitched a perfect final two innings, striking out one.

William Woods then dropped a 13-8 decision to Central Methodist on Sunday.

The Owls are now 12-3 on the season.
