A Jefferson City man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 54 at Melray Curve in Callaway County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Mack trash truck, driven westbound by James D. Dameron, 43, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a series of small trees.
Dameron was taken to University Hospital in Columbia.
He was wearing a seat belt.
