ST. JAMES, Mo. - Blair Oaks cruised into the semifinals.
The second-seeded Falcons eased past seventh-seeded Salem 58-42 in the opening round of the St. James Tournament on Tuesday night.
Blair Oaks took a 20-10 lead after one quarter, went up 33-20 at halftime and led 51-29 heading into the fourth quarter.
Kory Franks paced the Falcons with 17 points, Logan Bax added 12 and Chandler Haxton had 10.
Blair Oaks (11-2) takes on third-seeded Rolla, a 52-34 winner against Newburg, in a 6:30 p.m. Friday semifinal.
