Cole County Residential Services Inc. is holding its fifth annual 5K for Kamp Walk or Run at 7:45 a.m. March 1 at North Jefferson City Pavilion.
The event will be held regardless of weather conditions.
Entry fee is $30.
Participants can register at the pavilion on the event day. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in seven age groups. Age groups are: 12 and younger; 13-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; and 60 plus.
The event benefits Wonderland Camp, which offers respite from daily care-giving for family and health care workers, and personal development experience for volunteers and staff. It is the only camp with a wheelchair-accessible tree house in Missouri.
