20 graduate from patrol's community alliance program

Capt. Gregory D. Kindle, commanding officer of Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop F, announced Friday that Troop F has completed its 2013 Community Alliance Program.

The class consisted of 20 participants who attended classes for six consecutive weeks at various patrol facilities in Jefferson City. The goal of the Community Alliance Program is to give residents a unique experience while being introduced to the duties of the patrol.

Some of the programs presented included courses on the history of the patrol, radar, search and seizure, polygraph, driving while intoxicated, crime scene collection, and criminal interdiction. In addition, the class observed demonstrations by a K-9 unit, the bomb squad, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), and marine operations. The final night consisted of dinner with the current recruit class and presentations of plaques for participants in the program.

Participants of the 2013 Troop F Community Alliance Program included: Jerry Knollmeyer, Ron Dallmeyer, Ron Kliethermes, Olivia Ingle, Hollie Braunschweig, Bryan Braunschweig, Charles Lahmeyer, William Renick, Charles Michael, Dave Dormire, Rhonda Dormire, Kevin Ward, Vicky Elwood, Carolyn McDowell, Laurelanne Bellezzo, Chris Huckleberry and Martin Beck, all of Jefferson City; Charles Lundquist, Ethan Buckman, Robert Johns, all of Columbia; and Ronald Beller, of Kaiser.
