Jefferson City officials hosted a brief ceremony Tuesday to announce the completion of the Stadium Boulevard and Edgewood Drive intersection.
Improvements like the addition of a right turn lane from southbound Stadium to Edgewood, a new camera detection system and optimization of the signal timings. Those streets were recently overlaid with new asphalt and had to be restriped, so the striping was done at no additional costs to the city.
The expenditure was $197,000 with funding for the project being through the 1â„2 cent Capital Improvement Sales Tax.
