Six members of the National Organization for Women (NOW) picketed Saturday morning in front of Jefferson City's Hobby Lobby store on Missouri Boulevard to protest the company's stance against the federal mandate to include birth control in its employee health care coverage.

The company, which expresses Christianity through its stores, recently objected to and filed suit against the federal Affordable Care Act because the company would be forced to provide coverage for some types of birth control, Plan-B or the morning after pill, which could be classified as abortion.
