TIPTON - Despite a late comeback, the Chamois Lady Pirates suffered a 46-41 loss to Jamestown in the consolation game of the Tipton Tournament on Friday night.
Jamestown led 25-16 at halftime, but Chamois was able to cut the deficit to to eight entering the third quarter. The Lady Pirates (2-3) outscored Jamestown 11-8 in the final period, but it wasn't enough.
Alison Mehmert scored 18 points and Paige Nolte added 17 to lead Chamois, which travels to Wellsville-Middletown Tuesday.
