Sale of playhouse to benefit Habitat for Humanity

River City Habitat for Humanity volunteers constructed a child's playhouse that is available for bid in a silent auction through the Missouri State Employee Charitable Campaign.

Proceeds from the playhouse will benefit River City Habitat for Humanity.

The playhouse is on display on the first floor of the Truman Building now through Sept. 30. Bidding closes at 4 p.m. Sept. 30. Bids may be submitted online at msecc.mo.gov/auction.php.

The current highest bid is $500, although the playhouse is worth $1,500.

The Missouri State Employee Charitable Campaign is an annual fundraiser that provides state employees the opportunity to make donations to various charitable organizations.
