ATHENS, Ga. - Missouri got just enough offense against Georgia on Friday night. But just in case it hadn't, Rob Zastryzny was up to the task.
The junior tossed a complete-game shutout as Missouri knocked off Georgia 4-0 in Southeastern Conference action.
Zastryzny improved to 2-5 on the season as he struck out four and did not walk a batter.
Missouri took a 2-0 lead in the fourth on a two-run home run by Keaton Steele.
It got two more runs in the eighth when Sommerfeld was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. A fielder's choice later in the inning brought home Missouri's fourth run.
Missouri (10-16 overall, 2-7 SEC) won despite being outhit 7-5 by Georgia (11-20, 1-9 SEC).
The three-game series continues at 7 p.m. today.
