While city officials grapple with cost overruns on a stormwater project, they're also plugging a federal grant into the budget to help fund a new section of Jefferson City's Greenway.
As part of the city's periodic upgrading of stormwater lines, it had planned to replace underground metal pipes in three areas of the city: near the Dix Road interchange, the ice arena and between Old Gibler and Fox Creek roads. But tearing up those areas would cause various problems, so officials are planning to line the pipes instead.
