COLUMBIAÂ - After not playing for more than a year, Monday's game was the perfect opportunity for Jabari Brown to get his feet wet.
The transfer guard from Oregon came off the bench to a standing ovation and scored 12 points in his Missouri debut as the Tigers routed South Carolina State 102-51.
"It felt weird having a lot of people cheer for me," Brown said. "Once I got out there it felt good."
Brown entered the game early in the first half and played 20 minutes. He said it didn't take him long to get back in a rhythm.
Brown is known for his 3-point shot, but he hit just 1-of-7. He said he wasn't worried about the slow start from 3-point range.
