Jefferson City police were searching Wednesday for two men who robbed the Break Time Convenience Store, 326 Ellis Blvd., about 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Capt. Doug Shoemaker said in a news release the both suspects were black men, "thin to medium build, and approximately 6 feet tall."
Both men were wearing black clothes, with some covering over their faces.
Shoemaker said only a clerk was in the store when the robbery occurred.
"One of the suspects displayed a black handgun," Shoemaker said, "and both suspects went behind the cash register and had the clerk open the cash drawer."
